Showcasing Our Metal Railings at the Seattle Aquarium’s Ocean Pavilion

Pacific Ironworks is proud to have contributed to the Seattle Aquarium’s latest expansion, the Ocean Pavilion. This state-of-the-art facility, designed to highlight the rich biodiversity of the Puget Sound, is an architectural marvel featuring sustainable design elements and world-class exhibits.

Our team fabricated and installed all the metal railings seen throughout the Pavilion, enhancing the aesthetics and safety of this modern space. The sleek, durable stainless-steel railings not only complement the aquarium’s contemporary design but also ensure visitor safety along the winding walkways and staircases that provide stunning views of the city and water.

Each railing was custom crafted to blend seamlessly with the building’s architecture, highlighting the Pavilion’s commitment to innovation and sustainability. The railings also play a crucial role in the building’s accessibility features, providing support along the gently sloping ramps and stairways that connect the Pavilion to the surrounding waterfront area.

Beyond aesthetics, these railings are designed to withstand Seattle’s coastal climate. Built with high-grade materials, they ensure longevity and minimal maintenance. The combination of functionality, durability, and design excellence in these railings is a testament to our dedication to delivering superior metalwork solutions.

Our involvement in this project is part of a larger effort to support community and environmental initiatives. The Ocean Pavilion aims to foster a deeper understanding and connection to marine life, and we are honored to have played a role in bringing this vision to life. Visitors can now safely explore the Pavilion’s various habitats, from the immersive underwater canyon in “The Reef” to the mangrove lagoon in “The Archipelago.”

Pacific Ironworks’ contribution to this project underscores our expertise in custom metalwork and commitment to quality craftsmanship. We’re excited to continue partnering on projects that benefit both the community and the environment.
